Join STAND Canada and STAND Carleton for its #LiftTheBurden Advocacy Conference in Ottawa from Saturday, May 27 to Monday, May 29! This conference will help STAND’s members and partners become better advocates when talking directly to decision-makers. Network with STAND advocates, develop skills, knowledge, and strategies in working with elected officials, and learn more about Canada’s refugee transportation loan program.

Locations:

Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28: Room 4499 MacKenzie Building – Carleton University, in central Ottawa

Monday, May 29: Lobby Day on Parliament Hill (day-of preparations in the Main Branch of the Ottawa Public Library, 120 Metcalfe Street)
