Shortly after this news conference, Ms. Kwan tabled STAND’s petition to abolish the loan program in the House of Commons. Thank you to everyone that signed and shared this petition! It’s thanks to supporters like you that we received over 2,300 signatures, significantly surpassing our original goal.

As we move forward into the summer, stay tuned for STAND’s next steps as we work to abolish the transportation loans and replace them with government funding. Your support will be critical.
