About the Team:

STAND’s Human Resources Team works on activities and policies that apply to every volunteer in the organization. Through active recruitment and communication with STAND volunteers, the HR team is responsible for ensuring that vacant positions are filled, new volunteers on-boarded, internal policies are followed, events such as conferences and team-building meet-ups are organized, and the general administration of STAND’s internal platforms (e.g: Google Suite accounts and Podio). We are therefore looking for a dynamic, and self motivated individual to join the team.

Human Resources Coordinator Recruitment

Time Commitment: 5 hours per week during 1 year


  • Post volunteer opportunity adverts and use recruitment channels to attract volunteers
  • Shortlist, interview and match volunteers to appropriate roles.
  • Extend written offers to successful candidates
  • Attend HR meetings
  • Optional: Participate in STAND projects outside of HR, and attend Annual meetings

This job may require other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director

About You

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following skills, knowledge, and experience :

  • 2-3 years related experience in recruitment – ideally within a non-profit .
  • University degree, or equivalent experience, in a related field
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using google drive and remote office software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
  • Proficient with maintaining records
  • A positive, team focused attitude

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with Podio and Slack
  • Prior Experience working with remote teams
  • Prior Experience working independently.
